Niekawa Station is a station on the JR Tokai Chuo Main Line located in Ōza, Shiojiri City, Nagano.
In December 1909, the Chuo-Higashi Line of the National Railways between Shiojiri and Narai was opened, and at that time it handled not only passengers but also freight, and became a leg of people's lives.
The old station building has been maintained in some places to match the atmosphere of the post town, and is managed while maintaining the atmosphere of the Meiji era. It is now an unmanned station, and the part that used to be the ticket gate has been boarded up, but the luggage window remains as it is.
