A historical museum built in 2011 due to the aging of the former Makabe Central Public Hall. There are Makabe Hall, which accommodates 300 people, Makabe Library, Music Studio, Conference Room, Cooking Room, Japanese Room, etc. There is also a courtyard tailored to the traditional buildings around. The traditional hall, which plays a role as a citizen's exchange space, has been discussed with the Ministry of Culture and adopts a method that considers archeological sites. We have won multiple architecture and design awards from excellent design philosophy. The Japan Society of Architecture Awards and the 2012 Good Design Award.
